Overview:
Create & develop the Inside Sales Program for Travis Mathew. Pioneer Inside Sales as the first Manager and Inside Sales Rep. The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of the Inside Sales department including but not limited to:
1. driving incremental pre-book &re-order sales through enhanced service &communication to accounts & reps,
2. managing, goal setting, tracking & evaluation of Inside Sales rep performance,
3. Establishing & cultivating relationships with accounts and field reps,
4. Delivering timely and actionable feedback from the field on product, trend and competitors.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the oversight and management of all Inside Sales reps for wholesale accounts
• Build a formalized protocol and tracking procedure to direct, coach, manage & evaluate performance of the Inside Sales team.
• Establish and build relationships with Buyers/Key Contacts through scheduled phone & e-mail communication.
• Create monthly & seasonal Inside Sales goals that align with Company sales plans and manage to those goals.
• Partner with outside reps to coordinate the pre-book, re-order and sales service effort.
• Through account & outside sales rep communication, deliver timely and actionable feedback from the field on product, trend and competitors.
• Handle Customer Service functions such as order entry, order status updates, returns and accommodations.
• Must become a ‘super user’ for the company’s B2B tool and train and promote accounts and other inside reps as well as outside reps to utilize the tool
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in an in-house sales or customer service management capacity
• Proficiency with an ERP system, “Full Circle” preferred
• Experience using sales technologies, such as B2B and CRM systems
• Proficiency in MS Office programs with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with accounts as well as co-workers
• Ability to multi-task and manage a large account-base
• Willingness to adapt to a fluctuating workload and adjust schedule accordingly during deadline times
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
