Zumiez is in search of a Senior Supply Chain Manager for its Corona, CA distribution facility. This role supports all of Zumiez North America and oversees and leads the supply chain and logistics functions domestically and internationally. This senior manager position will oversee the traffic, trucking, customs, and logistics financial analyst teams. In addition, this role consults with internal teams to support business initiatives and creative solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong, proven leadership skills, and be an excellent teacher.

POSITION PURPOSE
DC Senior Supply Chain Manager is the leader of the Supply Chain and Logistics teams and is responsible for the overall performance of the Zumiez Logistics Network. This role identifies and executes key projects and initiatives that support company and/or department strategies to optimize speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness while improving customer experience. This role interacts with other leaders throughout the organization including home office and field sales teams. Performance is measured to budgeted targets for transportation expense, margin savings, cost effectiveness, service times and adherence to safety and government regulation.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Recruit, lead and teach team leaders to enhance performance, increase profitability and develop team members personally and professionally
•Manage the logistics financial analyst, traffic and customs teams
•Identify and establish annual goals for productivity, people development and cost controls
•Manage to meet and exceed transportation KPIs for speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness through continuous improvement
•Identify and execute key projects that support company strategies and department initiatives
•Create and manage to annual budget and re-forecasts with regular updates to control all logistics cost for transportation, labor, and other line items
•Evaluate and manage transportation systems and processes to enhance performance, development and profitability
•Manage recognition and training programs
•Align logistic teams and cross-departmental stakeholders through planning, communication, execution and management
•Enforce the safety program and ensure all policies are followed
•Other duties, project and/or management requests as assigned
