Provide marketing creative for the O’Neill brand, and help to foster an environment that values creativity, development, diversity and risk taking all while increasing the value of our brand. The right candidate will have a diverse portfolio and demonstrate a broad understanding of design principles and techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Work to maintain highly conceptual, fresh, creative excellence, and a level of innovation in creating consumer advertising and marketing materials for O’Neill.
• Design projects from conception through market
• Work closely with design and production teams
• Able to be collaborative, reliable and work well in a team
• Ability to create campaigns across print, digital and multiple mediums
• Experienced in art directing photographers and illustrators
• Experienced in photo editing and color correction
• Must be able to manage/build/lead team of designers
• Able to work with client teams on requirements, timelines and budgets
• Candidates must also exhibit the ability to oversee freelancers and external vendors when needed
• Create label and hangtag packages for special product initiatives
• Determine look/vibe of tradeshow booths
Requirements:
• 7 years experience in designing creative
• Innovative, self-motivated, creative, and detail oriented
• Excellent Illustrator and Photoshop skills
• Team player with great attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Ability to turn around outstanding work under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
