Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced contract Digital Content Specialist/Digital Asset Manager (DAM) Specialist to join our team at Dickies, a workwear and lifestyle apparel brand. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our digital asset management tool, Brand Folder, ensuring that all digital assets related to our workwear and lifestyle brand are stored, categorized, and easily accessible. Our core customers leveraging this work include regions, wholesale partners, sales and commercial teams (DTC included), and marketing/creative.
How You Will Make a Difference:
1. Digital Asset Management: Manage and organize the digital asset management tool, Brand Folder, to ensure efficient storage, categorization, and retrieval of digital assets including images, videos, graphics, and other media files.
2. Metadata and Tagging: Develop and implement a consistent and effective metadata and tagging system for digital assets to enhance search-ability and discoverability.
3. Asset Organization: Establish and maintain a structured folder hierarchy within Brand Folder to facilitate logical organization and ease of use for all stakeholders.
4. Content Review and Approval: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and approve digital assets, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, quality standards, and legal requirements.
5. Workflow Optimization: Continuously assess and improve digital asset management workflows, identifying areas for automation and process enhancement to maximize efficiency and productivity.
6. User Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on using Brand Folder effectively, including uploading, searching, and retrieving digital assets.
7. Asset Usage Tracking: Monitor and track the usage and performance of digital assets, generating reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize content strategies.
8. Brand Guidelines Compliance: Ensure all digital assets align with the brand's visual identity, tone, and messaging guidelines, maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
9. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, design, and e-commerce teams, to understand their digital asset needs and provide timely support.
10. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to digital asset management, recommending innovative solutions to enhance workflows and user experiences.

Skills for Success:

! Proven experience in digital asset management, preferably within the workwear or lifestyle brand industry.
! Proficiency in using digital asset management tools, specifically Brand Folder or similar platforms.
! Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and asset tagging principles.
! Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
! Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
! Familiarity with digital content creation, including image and video editing tools, is a plus.
! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
