JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Asset Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting Jason Markk’s digital initiatives by managing and organizing the company's digital assets across various platforms. This role is responsible for the formatting, publishing, and cataloging of digital assets—including images, videos, and other media—ensuring they are efficiently stored and easily accessible for use across multiple websites, B2C, B2B, and retail marketing channels. Additionally, the specialist will maintain the digital asset management (DAM) system to ensure assets are properly categorized, tagged, and available for cross-functional teams.
Collaboration with the E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Brand, and Wholesale Sales teams is essential to ensure all assets are aligned with project requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, as well as an ability to streamline asset workflows and ensure consistency in the use of digital materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB/DUTIES:
- Assist in defining and outlining the digital asset deliverables for each initiative, providing detailed briefs including deadlines to the Brand team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of digital assets.
- Format, optimize, and manage approved digital assets—including photos, videos, documents, and other media—ensuring they are correctly distributed across multiple channels.
- Create and implement a systematic approach for efficiently storing, organizing, and distributing Jason Markk’s digital assets using a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Ensure assets are properly cataloged and tagged for easy retrieval and use across departments, including B2C, B2B, and retail marketing.
- Review and maintain the accuracy of digital assets on the company's website and marketing platforms, ensuring they meet internal standards and performance KPIs.
- Coordinate the timely upload and deployment of digital assets to support campaigns and initiatives across the website, landing pages, and marketing channels.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure asset requirements are met for each campaign and launch while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on the utilization and performance of digital assets to ensure continuous optimization.
- Establish and implement best practices and workflows for the life cycle of digital assets, from creation through archiving.
- Perform other digital asset management-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills/Abilities:
- Expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM): Proven experience managing, organizing, and distributing digital assets across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop: Demonstrates a strong design sensibility for asset formatting and optimization.
- Knowledge of Shopify’s CMS and theme builder: Experience with managing digital assets on e-commerce platforms.
- Experience supporting digital marketing channels: Knowledge of using assets across email, paid social, display, and affiliate platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Suite: Ability to manage, analyze, and report on digital asset performance.
- Strong written communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate digital asset needs and instructions across teams.
- Independent working capability: Ability to concentrate and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills: Ability to make informed decisions regarding digital asset use and optimization.
- Team-oriented and collaborative: Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with multiple departments.
