The Digital Graphic Designer will contribute to the ideation and execution of memorable digital experiences across The North Face’s digital platforms. Reporting to a Digital Art Director, the Digital Designer is a self-starter with a solutions-focused attitude who can work independently as well as collaboratively. This role is responsible for concepting, driving execution, and production of direct-to-consumer experiences including but not limited to emails, site placements, and site experiences.

Digital Graphic Designer
 
How You Will Make a Difference 
What you will do:
Partner with design and copy teams to drive the brand’s consumer-facing Digital Commerce experiences.
Collaborate with creative partners and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative design solutions that elevate our brand and product storytelling.
Develop and deliver creative content that will build brand equity and drive commercial results across digital channels.
Support, develop and/or create graphic executions of brand global, regional and seasonal initiatives.
Ability to understand a brand big idea and translate it to multiple digital environments and platforms.
Support the Digital team in achieving brand goals and objectives.
Champion the brand identity and adhere to design standards.

Skills for Success 
Years of related professional experience: 3-5 years professional experience in digital design—eComm focus preferred.
Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. 

What we expect you already know:
Understanding and application of digital best practices, including ADA compliance.
Deep knowledge of responsive and adaptive design.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles to collaborate on wireframing, prototyping and journey mapping with the UX team.
Sophisticated design aesthetic with command of typography, layout, color, and communication design principles.
Expert knowledge of Adobe CC and Figma with the desire to continuously hone your design skills.
Experience in video and motion graphics a plus.
Keeps up with current trends, color, media, technology and other design influencers.
Highly self-motivated work ethic with a genuine passion for design, typography, and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to handle feedback, or provide tactful rationale for your work, and translate into brand-relevant creative that meets the needs of the business and our internal stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver a consistently high standard of work—all while meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Genuine passion for the outdoors a bonus.

Pay Range:
$66,528.00 USD - $99,792.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
