We are a new surf brand founded by Jamie O’Brien, one of the best all-around surfers on any board, dedicated to high-quality soft-top and hybrid surfboards and surf apparel, everything you need for a fun day in the surf. Rooted in authenticity, we’re seeking someone who embodies the ride anything wave-riding lifestyle to lead our marketing and social media efforts.
Role Overview
As our Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing a full-spectrum digital marketing strategy. You’ll manage our social media platforms, produce engaging content, and ensure our brand voice resonates authentically with the surf community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media and digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content, including photos, videos, and written posts that reflect the Fun Day lifestyle.
- Manage our brand ambassadors and influencers, coordinating content and gathering UGC for our marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Fun Day team to plan and execute marketing campaigns that align with brand launches and events.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to continuously refine and improve our digital presence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management within the surf/lifestyle industry.
- A ripping wave rider with a personal connection to the surfing community.
- Strong creative skills, including content creation and basic photography or videography.
- Strong planning and execution skills. A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit to make it happen on time and on budget.
- A great communicator and collaborator.
- Based in or willing to work full-time in Newport Beach, California.
