WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Director, Ethics & Compliance Asia Pacific, who should be a passionate teammate to join us in our commitment to champion an ethical culture for all athletes*. The ideal candidate will have an expert ability to identify risk, work cross-functionally to problem solve, and communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders, both locally and globally. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of ambiguity and can think strategically to help the Ethics & Compliance team plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

If this is you, youll be responsible for championing an ethical culture across multiple functions and countries in Asia Pacific and perform other tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Senior Director, Ethics and Compliance Greater China & Asia Pacific. You will serve as an expert on Nikes code of conduct and other related compliance policies, and you will be responsible for localization of the Ethics & Compliance Offices priorities. You will have a working understanding of how to conduct risk assessments and how to design effective controls for fraud, bribery and corruption. You will conduct compliance trainings, prepare communications, serve as an advisor on corporate compliance policies and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

While you will be based in Singapore, you will report to the Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance Greater China & Asia Pacific who is based in Shanghai, and you will lead the Asia Pacific Ethics & Compliance team mates based in Singapore, Seoul, and Tokyo. Your key stakeholders will be functional and business leaders across Asia Pacific. You will partner closely with the Ethics & Compliance Offices functional stakeholders, to power and protect NIKE, Inc.s competitive advantage by positioning accountability and Doing The Right Thing at the heart of everything we do.


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor/Masters degree from an accredited university preferably in Accounting, Finance, legal or related field

A minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, assurance, auditing, or related functions within a large, multi-national company (Fortune 500 and CRCMP, CFE or other certification preferred)

Strong understanding of the technical aspects of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as local anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws and regulations and good working knowledge of global laws and regulations relating to bribery, corruption, and fraud

Experience in developing company compliance programs, conducting trainings, advising and coordinating a team of professionals working across a large geographical area

Understanding and extensive experience in internal auditing standards, Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) Internal Control Framework, and risk assessment practices

Demonstrable ability to operate effectively in a large, matrixed organization with strong influencing skills

Ability to travel internationally (10%)
