Director, Global Consumer and Market Research NIKE, Inc. New York, NY. Set the Nike marketing brand strategy, near-term and long-term, and govern the corresponding workload priorities. Balance art and science to drive a consumer centric culture to better serve the Jordan consumer and grow the Nike Basketball brand. Lead Jordan consumerists who can pilot the organization to meet the future needs of athletes. Lead the insights learning agenda for the Jordan brand, in partnership with the VP Consumer Science and Insights, Jordan brand. Define the consumer, identify what we need to learn, and turn insights into impactful ideas for the enterprise. Translate data from a variety of sources into measurable insights which lead to consumer strategies and concepts that inform the brand, influence product creation, and drive business growth. Partner with the global Nike, Inc. Consumer Insights function and external agencies or services to deliver a robust and comprehensive understanding of the consumer. Work at the source of season less and seasonal concepts with key functional partners. Responsible for the partnership with GEO leads and will be the Insights face to the business and integrate closely with general managers, product merchandising, design, and marketing. Up to 25% travel time.

Applicant must have a Masters degree in Marketing Research or Sustainability and 24 months of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:

1. Consumer, design, economic and behavioral trends;
2. Writing narratives and present data insights;
3. Culture and design anthropology;
4. Client and project management;
5. Survey development;
6. Consumer and Market research/insight;
7. Research Agency Management;
8. International team management;
9. Film and editorial direction, production, and creation; and
10. Workshop and research interview moderation.

Rate of Pay: $250,800 to $425,500 per year.
