Murf Electric Bikes is looking for a Director of eCommerce to join our growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of eCommerce will be accountable for establishing and executing a strategic direction for future business growth.

Primary duties are to support Murf Electric Bikes in online revenue generation through strategies that increase brand visibility, online traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and improve the customer journey by working with internal & external teams on site design, digital marketing, programming, and analytics.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with 6-12 years of experience growing revenue in the D2C space, growing eCommerce teams, and managing budgets in excess of $1M. The candidate should demonstrate experience leading internal and external personnel to achieve organizational and financial goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Marketing
-- Oversee and manage key 3rd party relationships to the execute performance marketing strategy including SEO/SEM initiatives, paid social media and other digital advertising, affiliate marketing and emerging channels.

-- Develop annual digital marketing budget and manage budget pacing and reporting to the executive team.

-- Work cross-functionally with design team to create marketing concepts and execute visual marketing and advertising campaigns that elevate the brand.

-- Collaborate with content producers to determine shot lists for photo & video shoots based on marketing & communication needs, seasonal trends, inventory positions, and marketplace opportunities.

-- Develop the digital marketing calendar and work with an internal team to ensure digital campaigns are deployed according to schedule and best practices.

-- Work with marketing & product teams to identify, develop, and test new features and key marketing messages for product marketing campaigns.
Analytics / Data

-- Track and manage business KPIs to achieve eCommerce channel growth goals including Net Revenue/Sales, AOV, conversion rates, repeat and new visitors, product performance, promotion performance, and CTV/LTV.

-- Develop full-view funnel analysis for measuring and improving each component of the customer journey, creating and marketing to specific customer segments.

-- Develop and manage reporting of site KPIs, customer experience, opportunities, and strategies to achieve sales growth and minimize customer friction.

Website
-- Identify and evaluate opportunities and plan site enhancements in collaboration with external web design and development teams to drive higher customer engagement and conversion.

-- Lead the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce business including web store improvements, merchandising, assortment plans, marketing, and promotions.

-- Collaborate with the creative team to provide direction for digital content, social media accounts, and advertisements

What you will bring
-- 6-12 years of experience managing a growing D2C business and implementing new technologies, UI/UX best practices, and content marketing using internal and external designers, developers, and agencies.

-- An inclusive approach to planning, decision making, and process improvement. Accountability for overall team performance, focusing on quality, growth, and internal & external feedback.

-- Demonstrated success in using a wide array of online advertising tools including email, SMS, social media, CTV, affiliates, etc. to increase site traffic, drive engagement, and increase sales.

-- Experience with P&L responsibility, and working with management teams, and stakeholders to achieve financial results.

-- Experience developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, the ability to analyze and understand an organization's strengths & weaknesses, knowledge of the market, competition, external threats, and opportunities, and the ability to adapt strategy to changing conditions.

-- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals, to persist in overcoming obstacles, to find and capitalize on opportunities, and to take calculated risks in order to accomplish goals and drive key KPI’s.

-- A problem-solving mentality allowing the applicant to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and develop alternative solutions.

-- Dependability in following instructions, responding to management direction, taking ownership, keeping commitments, reaching goals, completing tasks on time, and properly communicating with team.
