Position Purpose:
Director of Fulfillment Operations oversees all distribution functions in our owned distribution center in Des Moines, WA as well as oversees the deployment and management of 3PL run facilities. In our own DC the responsibilities include order processing, packaging, shipping, and receiving. You and your team monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfill all orders. You balance workloads as needed to achieve efficiency, productivity, and shipping goals for each shift. Additionally, you will utilize software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems. Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations. Complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Requires 10 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Supervisory Experience and extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
This role is responsible for re-imagining our distribution needs as direct to consumer fulfillment becomes a larger part of our business and will need to continually look at maneuvering current DC’s and 3PL’s to optimize our speed to market, spend and overall customer experience on an ongoing basis. Reverse logistics will become an ever-increasing important body of work in Elevate DC’s.

Essential Job Duties
Create and implement Fulfillment and Distribution strategies and performance monitoring.
Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, supply chain, IT, and finance) to achieve business growth and customer needs.
Own B2B and D2C fulfillment execution by setting goals for fulfillment and service providers, tracking key daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics while holding providers accountable to meet targets.
Identify new opportunities for continuous improvements and scale, partnering closely with the IT/Technology team to develop Fulfillment technology roadmap.
Build world-class capabilities, ensuring our systems, tools, and business processes achieve company and customer financial objectives.
Responsible for understanding internal and external customer service expectations through establishing and maintaining effective relationships and developing cost efficient strategies to meet service expectations.
Maintain/Support Safety Compliance and training for distribution center facilities and employees, and ensure operational contingencies in place
Participate and support the development, training, and post auditing of all Standard Operating Procedures
Manage Distribution Center workforce of 50+ employees
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Operations or similar related field
10 years of experience in Operations with evidence of progressively increasing responsibility, with at least 5 years in a leadership role of a Distribution Facility or Warehouse within the Consumer Products industry.
Experience working with Continuous Improvement principles like Kaizen, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc. is required.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Systems, and Warehouse Slotting software
Experience with private fleet management and retail delivery
3PL management.
Oracle/NetSuite experience a plus

Salary Range
This is a SALARY position with Elevate Outdoor Collective. The pay range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 annually.
