Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Director of Product Operations, you provide operational leadership in the execution of the product strategy. You enable the cross-functional product teams by driving efficient operations through calendars, process, and resource management, ensuring timelines and business objectives are met. In partnership with Design, Product Creation and Development, Merchandise Planning and Allocations (MP&A) and Sourcing leadership teams, you provide guidance and cohesion to optimize a high-performing cross-functional Product Operations team.This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Meet Your Future Team:The Product Operations team optimizes the intersection of product, supporting through cross-functional teams to improve alignment, communication, and processes around product. We build a foundation for excellence through reinforcing product strategy with metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, budgeting and reporting.If you were the Director, Product Operations now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Leading, mentoring and motivating the Product Operations team to enable the execution of the design vision; providing expectations, goals and deliverables through owning the Go To Market (GTM) calendar ! Owning the continuous improvement of the GTM calendar, including the process management and adherence! Ensuring all teams have clarity of roles, responsibilities and expectations, while championing a culture of continuous challenge, improvement and growth! Managing the organizational capacity for newness each season; setting guardrails and optimizing workload across each function to enable successful change attitudes ! Championing the implementation of any new milestones or evolving processes! Building and maintaining change management processes that ensure clear communication and follow through! Partnering with Product team leads to ensure they have adequate resources to fulfill seasonal requirements! Balancing seasonal and concept deliverables in close alignment with Product Creation Development, Design, MP&A, Raw Materials and Sourcing teams! Identifying every opportunity to lead and mentor team members! Collaborating with leadership to support in identifying areas of process improvement, business calendar and team structure requirements! Monitoring and reporting on team performance metrics regularly to leadership ! Ensuring the Product Operations team has their fingers on the pulse of the culture; helping to champion any learning opportunities for the development and growth of the team! Collaborating with People and Culture (P&C) and supporting the Product Operations team on recruitment and training Are you our next Director, Product Operations?! You have 10+ years’ experience in a design, development, or production environment ! You have 3+ years in a leadership role ! You have a a complete understanding of the product lifecycle process! You have a strong knowledge of the Arc’teryx products and apparel processes! You have a proven ability to influence and collaborate with groups of cross-functional stakeholders! You have proven people leadership, mentorship and project management skills! You demonstrate initiative, agility and commitment! You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal! You are detailed and accuracy oriented, with strong organizational skills! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions!
