WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
When the game changes this fast, you need an expert to keep the team aligned. Nikes Transformation, Organizational Strategy and Culture (TOC) team is looking for an Organizational Strategy Director to drive transformation for Nikes most critical business priorities in our Greater China (GC) geography. This role will drive business transformation initiatives to enable our strategy and also support the development of Nike Inc. capability in the TOC field. The candidate will be a systems thinker and an experienced management consultant, with a track record of successfully leading complex transformation efforts in a global context.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this critical role, youll lead the design and execution of transformation initiatives for Nikes most critical business priorities. In a typical day youll be partnering with cross-functional leaders to translate our strategy into reality, ensuring our teams are optimally set up to deliver their best work for consumers. Youll lead assessments of our operating model, scope transformation initiatives, and design holistic solutions to evolve our capabilities, structure, processes and people.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will be a master of a cutting edge global matrix. Reporting to our Senior Director, Transformation and Organizational Strategy & Culture you will be a part of a global team and also embedded in our Greater China geography. This role is also part of the GC Human Resources (HR) Leadership team and contributes to the overall leadership of the HR function by working with HRBPs and Center of Expertise partners. To do your best work, you will collaborate with business, HR, strategy and other cross-functional leaders in service of Nikes strategic priorities.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience working as a consultant or lead on large scale organizational transformation and / or strategy efforts, including holistically assessing and designing aligned organizational capabilities, structures, processes and success metrics
Skilled at turning complex information into clear narratives by connecting systemic trends and issues, examining opportunities from multiple perspectives, identifying options and articulating tradeoffs
Proven ability to play an executive-level consulting role in cross-functional transformation and / or strategy projects, including supporting leadership teams to navigate diverse priorities and drive clear decision-making
Experience managing transformation and / or strategy projects which have cross-functional impacts, skilled at adapting plans to changing environments and constantly prioritizing the most important work to achieve milestones and drive impact
Strong generalist management consulting skillset, including project scoping and management, hypothesis development, research, benchmarking and trend identification
Ability to independently navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, identify conflicts and negotiate solutions in a fast-paced global setting
Ability to advise on successful activation and implementation of organizational transformations, particularly change management, culture and team effectiveness impacts
WHAT YOU NEED
8-10+ years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years as an internal or external consultant
Bachelor Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Social Sciences or related field; advanced degree is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills with ability to work in a diverse team across multiple levels
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required for this role
