Shift-Tuesday-Friday, 5PM-3:30AM
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:As our Operations Manager, youll co-lead the execution of Nikes latest Omni-Channel Distribution Center, assuring that all departmental safety, service, quality and financial objectives are met! Youll demonstrate leadership in crafting a positive and collaborative environment engaging with our athletes and empowering the entire team. Youll lead a successful and cohesive work group by demonstrating a true dedication to continuous process improvement and Nike Logistics System.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:In this role, we will need you to advise business processes to receive, store, process, and ship product timely and accurately to customers while optimizing operational results.- Youll analyze performance data for the purpose of driving key decisions around service, operations and logistics. Youll facilitate and encourage process improvement focused on making the operation more effective, simple and flexible. Analyzing performance data for the purpose of driving key decisions around service, operations and overall logistics!- Understand the end-to-end movement of product through the facility and be a catalyst for flow.- Accountable for achieving annual operating goals.- Responsible for developing coaches within each area of the facility.- Facilitate and encourage continuous improvement processes passionate about making the operation more effective and flexible.- You will set and meet SMART goals for key result areas applying data.- You will actively contribute to the development of distribution goals, and objectives, while working efficiently across departmental boundaries within the operation- You will be responsible for the overall shift and departmental production/efficiency goalsWHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Operations and lead and influence the input/output of 2-8 Area Managers and 40-150 full-time employees.WHAT YOU BRING:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience- Minimum 5 years operation direction experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Experience with SAP, WMoS and Kronos would be a plus- Proven understanding of automated distribution systems- Experience with budget overseeing and accountability- Excellent verbal, written and listening interpersonal skills, ability to lead other and influence at various levels of the organization
