About the role…

As the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Oboz Footwear, you will oversee the wholesale business within the defined region. The primary responsibility is to achieve the annual revenue targets for the region. Managing independent sales reps and ensuring they provide support as business partners is an important component. In partnership with the sales reps and the Oboz sales leadership, this role will manage key accounts and strategic partners, identify distribution and growth opportunities, ensure strong retailer and consumer connectivity, and grow brand awareness.

This position should be located somewhere in the Eastern region of the United States.

Sales Strategy
• Achieve seasonal and annual growth targets for accounts and the region.
• Understand the brand vision – to ensure consistency with retailer portfolio and new distribution opportunities.
• Develop a strong understanding of Oboz footwear, fit system, and product roadmap.
• Actively participate in the Go To Market process – providing product feedback, trends, competitive analysis, and white space opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Oboz teams (product, marketing, sales ops) to manage the business in-season and plan for future seasons.
• Collaborate with sales leadership, sales ops, and finance to establish seasonal and fiscal financial targets and forecast and track sales in-season, identifying risk and opportunities.
• In-season, be proactive in looking for at opportunities to maintain the order book and drive at once and margin builder sales.

Strategic and Retailer Relationships
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Retailers in the region.
• Lead Key Account and Strategic partnerships, ensuring product placement, brand strategies and growth plans are met.
• Assist and participate with sales reps and internal teams in the planning of regional trade shows, sales meetings, presentations, training events, and product line presentations.

Independent Sales Representatives
• Manage independent sales representatives (sales reps) within the region.
• Support the sales reps in managing their retailer portfolios – securing sales preseason orders, driving sales in-season and supporting the brand at retail.
• Assist the sales reps by providing tools and insights to analyse and growth the business. Oboz wants sales reps who are good business partners – who think outside the box, are solution-oriented and help the retailer and the brand succeed.
• Provide the sales reps with feedback, coaching and monitoring to ensure they best represent the Oboz brand and are good business partners.
• Evaluate sales rep performance and provide feedback.

Trends
• Provide feedback on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
• Provide field assessments on Oboz’s market position and performance projections to specific accounts that include competitor insights and opportunities.

About you…
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+.
• Proven sales experience selling consumer products to dealers, distributors, and distribution channels.
• Passion; for brands, for creativity, for the outdoors.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
