Position Overview:
The Ecommerce & Digital Sales Director will drive rapid growth in our online channels. The role will focus primarily on developing and executing online sales strategies through SEO/SEM advertising, digital marketing management, brand newsletter promotion, and business channel growth opportunities. With a complete understanding of website optimization and effective consumer product discoverability navigation, the Ecommerce and Digital Sales Director will manage digital marketing, lead generation strategies that drive customer acquisition and generate targeted sales growth. Working closely with the VP of Sales to develop sales initiatives, the Ecommerce & Digital Sales Director executes the strategic direction at the tactical level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive development and implementation of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy, including establishing a framework and infrastructure for a data-driven, customer insight-based strategy across 5 platforms, Arcadebelts.com, Arcadebelts.ca, Amazon (both US and Canada) and Social Shopping.
• Inform creative for digital advertising for all online channels, in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Create highly effective paid search campaigns, online content strategies and online campaign calendars, with the goal of increasing the customer base, creating customer lifetime value, engagement levels of new and existing customers, and overall sales conversions and profitability.
• Responsible for achieving ROAS targets for each ad channel spend and campaign, as well as creating and reporting of KPIs.
• Provide ongoing management and optimization of these campaigns with a heavy emphasis on tracking and reporting.
• Research, vet and manage partners and budget, including hiring third-party vendors.
• Organize, interpret, and analyze market trends in the online shopping experience and successfully implement into the Arcade strategy, understanding the scope, scale and opportunity for the total Ecommerce business.
• Lead customer experience testing and optimizations throughout the customer journey, utilizing ‘best-practices’ in digital, ad creatives, ad placements, landing page experience, conversions, and post-conversion contact.
