AVVA is seeking a creative and versatile Ecommerce Content Designer & Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Santa Ana. This in-office position combines graphic design talent with ecommerce operational support for the AVVA brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills relevant to the surf apparel industry, while also being willing to handle essential ecommerce operations including customer support, Shopify store updates, and Apparel Magic management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graphic designer looking to break into the surf apparel industry while gaining valuable ecommerce experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

GRAPHIC DESIGN & CONTENT CREATION (Primary Focus)

• Create and design catalog layouts for both digital and print applications
• Design web banners, social media posts, and online advertising materials (carousels, etc.)
• Clean up and manipulate product photos for website and marketing materials
• Collaborate with ownership/management on strategic marketing initiatives
• Maintain the AVVA.com Shopify store by uploading new images, adding copy, and other updates
• Support the Head Product Designer with Illustrator work for tech pack layouts as needed

ECOMMERCE & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

• Manage customer service inquiries via email, phone, and online platforms
• Process ecommerce orders, returns, and exchanges
• Assist with email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo experience a plus)
• Support order management for both ecommerce and wholesale channels
• Maintain product information in Apparel Magic system

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills relevant to surf/action sports industry
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Shopify platform and content management systems
• Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
• Customer service experience, preferably in an ecommerce environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Tech-savvy with a passion for learning new systems and tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in surf/action sports industry or related lifestyle brands
• Knowledge of Klaviyo email marketing platform
• Experience with ShipStation or Gorgeous
• Working knowledge of Apparel Magic
• Understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytics
