The Merchandising Specialist (MD) is responsible for providing a quality shopping experience to customers through assortment planning. This person mainly plans the assortment for both owned Ecommerce and external eCommerce sites (ZOZO TOWN, Amazon, Rakuten Fashion and Magaseek) with strong relationship with internal Ecommerce team. On the other hands, this person supports in-season merchandising plan to maximize sell-through, e.g, gives the advice appropriate products and collection to promote to consumer by occasion and inventory situation based on sell-through analysis and market trend.
Responsibilities:
Planning of product assortment strategies align with DTC channels
SMU management from end to end – Plans the product line for Ecommerce channel with collaborating with the product development team and internal Ecommerce team
Analyze product sell-out by promotion, by campaign and other axis of seasonal occasions
Merchandising for in-house and external EC sites such as Amazon.com, Zozo town and others
Develop partnerships and collaborations with cross-functional departments/leaders
Identify problems, clearly communicate them internally and externally, and provide solutions to correct course in a timely manner
Analyze the market and competitors
Perform other duties required
