The Payroll Specialist is a member of the Human Resources team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in daily data entry Payroll processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily payroll department operations for multi-state payroll processing under Payroll Manager’s supervision
- Assist in the workflow management to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely to adhere to our deadlines
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Execute Enterprise eTime time and attendance processing and interface with payroll (ADP Pay eXpert)
- Process correct garnishment calculations
- Process vacation, sick and leave time
- Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Process manual checks
- Update and reconcile monthly bank statements from ADP
- Research and resolve payroll-related issues for employees
- Manage distribution of manual checks

- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 year’s experience processing multi-state payroll
- CPP preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- ADP Pay eXpert payroll processing experience and ADP Enterprise eTime time and attendance processing required
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Lotus Notes
