Rockford Fosgate, high-performance audio manufacturer is looking for a super star to join the in-house creative department. This is an extremely visible position in the industry and we’re looking for someone who has a passion for audio and understanding of a high-performance lifestyle brand.
As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for all aspects of the graphic design process. Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and part of a cutting edge creative team, the Graphic Designer will provide graphic design, production services that are used in all areas of marketing and sales departments. This includes initial creation through final production. You should expect to be challenged every day, staying outside your comfort zone will yield creative and industry leading communications in both electronic and print mediums.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Develop creative designs for product brochures, publications, product packaging, displays, websites, POP, price sheets, sales sheets/specials and other presentations.
• Key stakeholder for accurately communicating product features in all aspects of print.
• Conceptualize designs and manage project from initial conception through final production.
• Confer with cross functional partners concerning all aspects of projects including expectations of design, turnaround time, corrections, approvals, etc.
• Must have complete knowledge of all press production aspects and conducts all press checks on given projects.
• Coordinate management and archiving of print assets.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or similar.
• Requires 5+ years of professional design experience in the Graphic Design world.
• Expert in print design, especially in-house corporate collateral and advertising.
• Branding communication experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capable of wearing many “hats”, multitasking, managing projects independently, organized, detail oriented, and meeting all timelines.
• Expertise using Macintosh and Windows environments.
• Proficient in Mac based design applications, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design.
•Travel as needed for trade shows, sales events, and photo shoots.
• Portfolio of recent consumer facing work.
