Teton Gravity Research Based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Teton Gravity Research (TGR) is the most visible entity in the adrenaline sports production industry.
The company’s business is a collective of award
winning cinematographers, producers, directors, professional athletes, and creative media specialists. We shoot in 16mm, 35mm, and digital formats for both Film and Television.
Objective:
The Web Designer/Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating, designing and developing content for all TETONGRAVITY.com.
This person will be working and collaborating with the Marketing Department and Web Development Team to manage all online content and implementing Teton Gravity Research’s web presence.
This is a Full-Time position within the TGR Offices in Teton Village, WY.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and create Web content for entertainment, promotions and other content as needed.
2. Deploy and maintain website, micro-site, and E-commerce Store content
3. Participate in website design process and implementation of new features.
4. Process images including color retouching and resizing for use on the website.
5. Design and code HTML e-mail communications and distribute e-mails
6. Undertake special projects as assigned
7. Maintain best practices for layout, design, navigation and SEO
Qualifications:
1. 2 years experience with Web and Graphic Design
2. 1 –2 years Flash programming and design
3. Proficiency requirements:
a. Programs: Dreamweaver, Fireworks or Photoshop/Imageready,Flash, Illustrator, Quark
b. Languages: HTML, CSS
c. Protocols: FTP, HTTP, Streaming Media
4. Additional Skills (not required)
a. ASP.NET, PHP, Javascript
b. Knowledge of Windows Server 2003
c. SQL
d. Server management
e. Streaming Media
f. AJAX procedures
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
6. Detail oriented
7. Willing to work weekends or long hours if needed
8. Participation in youth culture and action sports
9. Must posses CREATIVE ARTISTIC ABILITY to further enhance the existing company web site while following the company’s current direction and advertising campaign.
