Affliction has an immediate opening for a Retail (Visual) Operations Manager at its headquarters in Seal Beach, CA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• In conjunction and support from the Retail Merchandise Planning Manager (peer), the Retail Visual Operations Manager will execute the new openings Affliction and Affliction Outlet stores and maintain the direction of the current stores.
• Responsible for training of Retail Sales Associates on the merchandising standards, key products, and marketing campaigns within the retail selling space, with Support from the Human Resources Training Coordinator.
• This position will focus on developing relationships with key store management to maximize shop productivity and elevate brand presentation and visual merchandising and display standards.
• Partnerships within the internal Marketing Group and the DTC (Direct to Consumer) Management group to assist with shop and campaign message installations, consumer and account feedback on product performance and visual presentation opportunities.
• Order and maintain all fixtures and displays in the retail stores.
• The goal of this position is to increase retail sell-thru and positively impact how our target consumer experiences the brand through, product placement, merchandising and POP communication.
• In partnership with the Retail Management, ensure location is visually merchandised to Company standards through continuous teaching and training.
• Direct connection and collaborator with the Design department on product feedback.
• Responsible for Tradeshow and Special Events Visual Merchandising and display.
• Drive both revenue growth and profitability.
• Assist with defining optimal product assortment
• Develop new revenue opportunities and plans for future growth.
• Will work closely with marketing group and DTC group to refine strategies and plans prior to implementation.
• Merchandising strategy and product placement within the stores as to maximize return on investment while meeting budgetary guidelines.
• Work with the Retail Merchandise Planning Manager (peer) on specific DTC and retail promotional plans to increase distribution and sell-through of new/existing product identifying and leveraging business.
• Execution of retail promotions for DTC.
• Ability to work cross functionally to drive retail growth.
• Working closely with all of Direct to Consumer to leverage the skills and assist with driving initiatives that meet the customers’ needs through:
• Marketing/Promotional Planning and Execution
• Retail Sales Operations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BA / BS or equivalent
• 6+ years of Retail Sales Management experience
• Visual Merchandising and display styling experience mandatory
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Enthusiastic with persuasive selling abilities
• Travel required 80%-90%.
