Effectively analyzes the financial and numerical data of Zuffa’s retail business and provides business analysis and strategic analytics support to the Retail and Licensing teams and Executive Management.

Position Summary:
Develops expertise in extracting data from Zuffa’s systems, including JDE and Media Maestro.
Conducts data mining and accurate interpretations of data. Uses this data to analyze information to recommend and make informed business decisions.
Identifies key business drivers and metrics in order to develop standardized reports.
Gathers data from disparate sources including market data, historical performance, company financials and other departments internally. Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, research, analyze and summarize financial data.
Communicates with other departments to gain input, validations and buy-in on key decisions.
Develops presentations that synthesize the business issues and help drive decisions.
Creates sales, inventory and shipping index plans by department/class by month for comp and new stores.
Analyzes historical and current sales trends and applies findings to pre-season and in season plans.
Analyzes and communicates size and location-based selling, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality and marketing impacts to affect store plans and allocations and recommend future purchases.
Prepares and distributes various financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Assists in development of financial models to analyze sales and other financial data.
Assists in analysis, NPV, ROIC, and inventory analysis.
Assists with the review of monthly financial statements and analyzes variance to budget/forecast.
Performs category analysis to determine top and bottom performing items by licensee and customer.
Forecasts sales and inventory requirements to support operations and purchasing decisions.
Communicates daily with vendors to ensure on time delivery to the US.
Tracks all shipments coming to the US, approves bookings, and maintains spreadsheets.
Classifies shipments and works closely with the broker to get shipments cleared through customs.
Approves PSA’s with overseas and domestic vendors.
Tracks testing reports for all styles.
Reviews all new licensing contracts, domestic and international.
Maintains asset management software (Media Maestro).
Reconciles monthly and quarterly royalty statement to confirm proper payment to Zuffa.
Prepares annual royalty statements for contracted fighters and talent.
Monitors and reconciles Zuffa royalty payments from all merchandise licensees in relation to merchandise contracts.
Maintains all Zuffa licensing and fighter contracts into asset management database (Media Maestro).

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-6 years experience in retail finance or accounting capacity.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong financial modeling skills.
Strong Excel skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present analyses and concepts.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams effectively.
Ability to balance numerous demands and work independently.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Cognos BI Tools and ability to learn other basic computer programs.
