Sanuk Footwear is currently seeking creative and motivated students for a challenging and hands-on internship with our Social Media department. This is an excellent opportunity for students to work for a fun company who are interested in careers in Social Media.

Job Description:
Monitor and maintain Sanuk’s online presence and reputation through the use of social media platforms, company blog, public relations and local events.

Key areas of responsibility
• Manage daily interaction with fans via Sanuk Facebook Company Page
• Collaborate with team to produce engaging contest and content for Sanuk Facebook Company Page, complete prize fulfillment for all winners
• Assist Manager in fulfilling requests for product from agency and other internal teams
• Regularly update company blog, coordinate with various internal teams and team riders to find company news, relevant industry news, and engaging content
• Monitor online mentions of company and team riders, produce weekly coverage report
• Produce Media Lists for blogger outreach
• Find opportunities to pitch Sanuk products and send to editors and bloggers accordingly
Skills:
• Candidates must be passionate about social and emerging media and exhibit creativity.
• Experience with social media platforms such as facebook and twitter in a professional capacity desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Master Karaoke skills a plus

Education:
Must be currently enrolled in school, Junior or Senior College
Compensation:
This position is unpaid – min 20 hours a week.
