An Orange County, Calif., Action Sports Company is seeking a detail oriented Technical Designer with CAD Pattern experience. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience and be responsible for:

Job Description and Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Work closely with Design on all development issue's.
- Manage and maintain the development schedule.
- Tukatech CAD system knowledge.
- Pattern generation, pattern corrections, graded specs and sample approvals.
- Participate in fittings and communicate these adjustments from 1st proto through production.
- Review samples to ensure that construction, fit and quality standards are met.
- Fit and communicate technical changes and measurement specifications to our vendors.
- Address and trouble shoot potential production/cost issues.
- Create and maintain seasonal spec packages.
- Utilize Illustrator to prepare fit and pattern corrections.
- Sew mock-ups when needed.

Job Requirements:
- Interest and knowledge in the Junior's apparel market and the men's action sports market.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical design or pattern making experience.
- Strong computer skills (Mac, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Illustrator and Entourage).
- Excellent communications skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have some technical background including garment construction.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and take direction.
- Must have a keen sense of urgency.
- Work well under pressure, long hours (seasonal).
- Fashion college/patternmaking/sewing experience are a plus.
- Fit experience with a fit model.
