Lakai Limited Footwear, a manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and apparel, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to deliver superior service to our customers and sales team.
We provide a friendly, casual environment, competitive compensation and a full benefits package.
This Customer Service Rep. will support our entire product line. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, but some flexibility on start and end times is possible.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Process orders submitted through fax, phone, email or EDI as requested by dealers and sales reps within specified timeline
- Answer inquiries from consumers and dealers regarding status of orders, warranties, product information, and inventory status includes recommending suitable products and upselling
- Follow up on various order issues, including returns, chargebacks, delivery issues and exceptions
- Work with sales reps to ensure timely deliveries and provide assistance regarding their accounts
- Assist with special projects as needed (special promotions, mailings, trade show preparation, etc.)
The successful candidate will have:
- An enthusiastic, positive attitude and dedication to building strong customer relationships
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service or retail experience
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and databases)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and detail orientation
- The ability to prioritize work and follow tasks through to completion
- Skateboarding industry experience is an asset
