POSITION SUMMARY: To assist the Store Manager in all staff, operational and merchandising functions of the store to attain maximum profitability, productivity and a world - class guest experience. Provide proper training and establish a cohesive team that will cultivate pride and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Generate sales.
2. Assist Store Manager in maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service.
3. Provide resources so that employees are properly trained in POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information and sales generation.
4. Role models and administers Company policies and guidelines.
5. Assist Store Manager in communicating Company values and goals to the employees.
6. Assist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling a daily payroll budget.
7. Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards (i.e. sized, folded, visually exiting, dusted and vacuumed.
8. Manage inventory control (i.e. cycle counts, loss prevention) and meet inventory goals.
9. Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures.
10. Recruit and maintain a quality core staff.
11. Manage operational budget (i.e. payroll, sales, margin and capital expenditures).
12. Remain current on new industry products and trends. Demonstrate knowledge of products.
13. Protect Company assets through loss prevention techniques.
14. Conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
15. Create a rewarding environment in which to work, generate a team atmosphere.
16. Maintain all Company paperwork according to policies and standards (i.e. human resources, sales audit, rental forms and payroll).
