The role of the BU Coordinator is to support the daily operations of the Business Unit.
Reports To: Business Unit Director
Responsibilities
o Provides critical support for the daily operations of the BU
o Works with the BU and internal personnel to launch and manage programs. Responsibilities include:
o Executes product briefs which describe objectives of the program launch
o Coordinates market research
o Assembles data for system set-up
o Tabulates sales results on program roll-ups
o Assists supervisor in development of seasonal margin documents
o Coordinates calendar for the BU to track product launches, events, and key BU dates
o Responsible for assembly and distribution of seasonal sales materials
o Interacts with internal marketing team to support BU initiatives
o Communicates with sales team on routine updates
o Sends caps and sell sheets to customers upon request
o Coordinates all materials needed for Trade Shows
o Provides reports through SAP/BI on a regular basis
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors
o Knowledge of basic business principles
o Basic understanding of financial principles
o Builds and maintains internal and external relationships
o Ability to assist with implementation of strategic initiatives
o Strong time management and organizational skills
o Enthusiastic, proactive and positive approach
o Ability to communicate effectively
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Previous experience with SAP preferred
Education
o Bachelors degree required
