Visual Merchandising Manager
Beachworks is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Manager to create, implement and maintain visual presentations and standards for 16 store chain.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for generating sales and shopping ease through visual merchandising presentations in all stores.
• Create, implement and manage floor-set changes
• Coordinate with merchants on key business drivers and plan sets accordingly
• Create schematics in advance for major seasonal floor sets
• Set sample store in a timely manner provide written communication along with photos to ensure direction to stores maintains standards of visual consistency.
• Implement and manage bi-weekly window changes
• Must train store management and personnel to properly execute visual standards through a hands on approach
• Maintain folding and sizing standards consistently throughout the chain
• Train store staff on shipment processing standards and implement strategies to ensure product flows smoothly from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Must address under performing stores and product categories and develop visual strategies to reverse the trend.
• Must maintain a monthly store visit schedule which ensures all stores in the chain are visited on a regular basis.
• Execute fixture layouts and hardware counts for new and remodel stores
• Must coordinate with the Art Dept, Marketing and stores to ensure all visual graphics and displays are in order and displayed properly
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of visual merchandising experience for a multi-store chain
• Must be detail oriented, creative and well organized
• Must posses a strong initiative, drive and motivation to learn and grow
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and changing environment
• Able to travel and available weekends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Candidate must be based out of Southern California
