Are you a talented number cruncher stuck in a dark cubicle at some boring company? Candidates will be responsible for the financial oversight of the USA business. Specific duties will include financial reporting, sales analysis, margin analysis, cost and expense controls, budgeting and planning, design and implementation of financial controls, and financial reviews with USA Management team and Corporate Finance. Candidate will be an instrumental partner with the USA Management team and will provide financial results to the Corporate Controller.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead financial analysis, controls, accounting and reporting of USA business.
• Manage P&L and expenses of USA business.
• Concept Store accounting.
• Generate monthly financial reporting package for USA Management team provide insightful data to team.
• Prepare monthly sales & margin flash report.
• Prepare monthly MD&A for Corporate Finance.
• Perform various financial analyses: sales, gross margin, investments in Concept Stores, etc.
• Lead the budget process to develop the annual USA budget.
• Lead the quarterly forecast process.
• Design and implement financial controls and policies as it relates to the USA business including reviewing PO’s, internal orders, capital purchases and credit card expenses.
• Manage team of two financial analysts.
• Provide decision support and analysis related to retail services. Analysis of capital investments in concept stores and working with challenged dealers.
• Financial oversight of company owned stores.
• Utilize Oracle 11i, Hyperion, and Excel to develop detailed financial reporting.

EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 7 + years of recent financial reporting including management experience
• Oracle & Hyperion experience required
• Experience creating ad hoc reports and working with database analysis tools essential
• Previous experience as controller, assistant controller, or FP&A Manager

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Power user of Microsoft Excel, Oracle 11i, Hyperion
• Familiarity with, Discoverer Industry experience in consumer products or distribution a plus
