We are currently seeking an Inventory Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
The primary functions of this position will consist of inventory analysis, planning and control including the following:
• Oversee the issuance of purchase orders and receiving of goods into inventory.
• Manage direct import and port of entry for customer orders.
• Ensure factories understand and adhere to specific customer requirements.
• Acts as a primary contact for matters regarding order status, schedule changes, shipping information.
• Assist in coordinating customs clearance issues and maintaining customs compliance records
• Maintains positive open lines of communication with Bravo management & staff, factories and factory liaisons to ensure information flow and efficient operations.
• Use problem-solving skills to locate and correct any inventory issues that may occur.
• Develop capacity plans on a quarterly basis and forecast demand to our key suppliers in order to ensure adequate capacity is reserved to support Bravo requirements.
• Resolves problems concerning over-shipments, shortages, and cancellation of orders.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Thorough knowledge and experience with materials management and purchasing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning principles, theories and practices.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in international business requirements, with an emphasis on importing processes and requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Motivated, assertive, and proactive individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities
• Experience with production or manufacturing software. Experience with business application software, MS Great Plains 10.0.
• College degree and/or Apics certification is a plus.
