Rockford Fosgate, high-performance audio manufacturer is looking for a part-time copywriter to join their in-house creative department. This is an extremely visible position in the industry and we’re looking for someone who has a passion for audio and understanding of a high-performance lifestyle brand.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the copywriter will be responsible for writing all promotional copy for multiple brands in the form of print, online, forums/blogs, internet/social media and in-store signage.The copywriter will be a key stakeholder in ensuring a uniform message for each brand.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Create concept and copy for a wide variety of marketing materials including:
• Sales sheets
• Consumer Prints Ads
•Advertisements
• Marketing Collateral– including brochures, catalogs, signs, packaging, and POS
• Radio
• Internet/Social Media, forums and blogs
• Press releases
• Research product attributes and competitive/customer information to clearly communicate consumer benefits
• Work with creative team to ensure copy tone & style is consistent
• Write strong headlines with compelling copy
• Travel as needed for trade shows and events.
• Perform these and all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA in Marketing or similar is preferred.
• 2+ years in the electronics field preferred.
• Experience with catalog-based copy recommended.
• Has branding communication experience.
• Has excellent communication skills.
• Capable of multitasking, managing projects independently, and meeting all timelines.
• Is organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
• Has expertise using Macintosh and Windows environments.
