Blitz Distribution is looking for an Apparel Production Manager to work on its JSLV brand.
The Apparel Production Manager will work directly with our Creative Director with the primary role to manage the apparel product development and production process.
Specific Accountability:
• Assists the creative and sales groups to build merchandise line plans to include new skus per product category, discontinued items, carry-over items, and vendor selection.
• Manage the apparel calendar and facilitate the design team to stay on calendar.
• Research and evaluate alternative vendors.
• Request quotes from vendors.
• Initiate the creation of part #’s for all sku’s.
• Work with accounting on vendor terms.
• Manage sample production process by getting tech-packs to vendors, and facilitate to meet deadlines.
• Initiate and submit all sample and production purchase orders.
• Monitor and report progress on apparel line-plan to upper management.
• Track pre-books and initiate buy-meetings with sales, marketing and design teams
• Seek approval of sample and to go into bulk production.
• Recommend ideal bulk production-buys.
• Managing inventory levels by monitoring available to sell reports.
• Be point person on production of special cuts (SMU’s) and one-off printables for large customers.
• Manage any one-off production efforts for select customers.
• Coordinate returns to vendors.
Requirements:
• Must have 6+ years of overseas cut n sew apparel production background.
• Must be very proficient in Excel.
• Full Circle knowledge is a plus.
• Adobe Illustrator knowledge is an asset.
