Bioworld Merchandising, located in Irving, Tx is seeking a Graphic Designer with a significant amount of product development experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for graphic design and product development within a particular product category.
2. Ability to implement Graphic Designs on products according to customer and license requirements.
3. Coordinator product presentations with Sr. Designer.
4. Ability to meet time and action calendar time lines.
5. Effectively communicate with factories and determine precise technical aspect of each property and customer.
6. Responsible for records and files accessed by product category team.
7. Strategize by accessing the marketplace, price/value relationship, current trends and channel of distribution for all licensed properties including, packaging and retail set up trends.
8. Become knowledgeable about material/constructions per category
9. Ability to follow through and follow up on tasks and special projects
10. Complete other projects as they are assigned
Qualifications:
•1-2 years graphic design and product development experience in the apparel and/or accessories industry.
•Some technical knowledge as it relates to raw materials and finished goods.
•Excellent presentation and written communication skills
•Detail oriented with effective follow-through skills
•Self-motivated with the ability to work individually and on a team
•Strong computer skills is a must: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Photoshop, and Illustrator
•Associates or Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Graphic Design or a related field
•Available to travel at least 2 times per year for trade shows, buyer presentations and trend research
