Quiksilver Marketing is looking for natural born leaders who know the skate, snow and surf lifestyle to intern this summer at events, promotions and help with daily marketing tasks. But you already knew this… We’re looking for creative kids with energy who think young and willing to work hard and play harder!
We’re not looking for someone who’s just looking to fulfill a measly 3 credits, but someone who is looking to have fun, work hard and get credit while doing it.

Internship Opportunities:
Event Marketing Interns
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Responsibilities:
• Organizing promotional materials
• Producing Post Event Reports
• Managing promotional distribution
• Assisting with promotional plans
Regional Marketing Interns
Locations: Huntington Beach, Honolulu, Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Raleigh, Charleston, ATL, Orlando, Miami, San Juan Puerto Rico, Chicago, Honolulu, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Columbus Ohio
Responsibilities:
• Work on grassroots marketing campaigns
• Produce weekly reports on regional market
• Film, edit and produce video clips
o Ability to edit video shorts required
• Be able to travel 2-3 hours for events
• Knowledge of the following markets:
o Huntington Beach, Honolulu, Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Raleigh, Charleston, ATL, Orlando, Miami, San Juan Puerto Rico, Chicago, Honolulu, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Columbus Ohio
Applicant requirements:
• Applicants should be active participants in the skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding youth culture.
• Applicants require a minimum of 2 years retail experience
• An understanding of boardsports lifestyle & culture is also a must.
• Must be knowledgeable in Online Marketing, Myspace and Facebook
• Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Entourage and Outlook are imperative.
• Mac knowledge OSX imperative
• Applicants should be outgoing and personable with good social and conversational skills.
• To be considered for this UNPAID internship, applicants should be at Junior or Senior level status, with a 3.0 Cumulative G.P.A and must receive school credit for the internship.
