ROXY is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the team in Huntington Beach, CA.
POSITION SUMMARY //
The Associate Product Manager’s core duty is to work with designers and production staff to build line plans and develop distinct, compelling, commercially viable, and consumer relevant product, while creating the right product to meet brand sales and margin target. This person will be a member of a small entrepreneurial team and will be asked to bring market savvy and enthusiasm to the team and to contribute to sales and marketing strategy, brand management, and all aspects of starting a new business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Help to build and execute a product strategy that fits with brand sales and marketing plans and supports corporate objectives
• Actively research and observe the competition’s design, pricing, and marketing and maintain a keen awareness of trends – responsible for creating product lines that are the most compelling and relevant in their target markets
• Work with sourcing and production to ensure that costs meet brand financial and sales targets – responsible for product margin
• Work with design, development, and production to make sure all timelines and deadlines are met – responsible for on-time delivery of sales samples and prototypes every season
• Interact with the sales force and key accounts – responsible for developing seasonal buy plans that support sales goals
• Support the sales team at sales meetings by providing key product knowledge and product strategy overview – responsible for adoption of the line
