Columbia Sportswear’s dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide and a diverse raw materials source base to support our consumer needs. Columbia Global Manufacturing brings product ideas to reality in order to connect active people with their passions. We cover everything from raw materials development, product development, fit engineering, quality, sourcing and then the Liaison Offices that manage the product manufacturing.
The Senior Footwear Sourcing Analyst is directly responsible for the sourcing of a segment of the Columbia Sportswear Brand.  This would include managing the product process interface between sourcing/costing and other Columbia work functions; monitoring factory performance matrix related to source decisions; and acting as the liaison between the home office and liaison offices. You will collaborate with cross-functional and liaison office partners to understand the Company’s direction and product line needs. You will grow the alignment with the material sourcing strategy, as well as optimize vendor resources and capabilities, to provide quality, sustainable profitability and delivery.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE 
Implement the seasonal source strategy for the segment of Columbia Sportswear business.    Expectation is to execute a source strategy that enables costing and margin requirements, in conjunction with meeting delivery and quality performance expectations. 
Achieve a proper balance between the source selection options of factory specific, country specific and alternatives that will enable the product category to meet corporate goals.  
Be an active participant and help facilitate timely development and commercialization of the seasonal product category. 
Aid in the building a 3-year source strategy and provide data, analysis and reporting to support decision making on direction of assigned product lines.
In collaboration with Liaison Office, gain an understanding of our suppliers’ capabilities. On-going create, analyze and monitor reports on the performance of the source base.
Collaborate effectively with co-workers across all work-related functions and departments. 
Monitor on an ongoing basis the quality and delivery performance of the factory source base producing your product category styles.  
Participate on projects or issues that impact sourcing, costing, production flow, and other related manufacturing areas.

YOU ARE 
A natural problem solver, anticipating and resolving complex issues through data analysis, quick thinking and discretion through strong analytical and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management and employees within the organization as well as vendors and worldwide personnel are required  
Understands ambiguity and can work in an evolving environment.
Ability to deal with work and time pressures to accomplish job requirements in an efficient and effective manner.
Ability to work well with individuals of different countries and cultures
A strong influencer and have story building/telling skills

YOU HAVE 
Bachelor's degree specializing in related field
5+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Planning, Merchandising, or Product Development
Understand sourcing methodologies for diversification, optimized delivery, inventory reduction and increased inventory turns
Working knowledge of manufacturing including supply planning, factory evaluation techniques, costing and vendor compliance requirements
Experience sourcing for different sales channels, such as wholesale and direct to consumer models
Capabilities to provide risk mitigation solutions through increased supply chain agility
Basic understanding of global trade agreements and trade regulations
