Position Title: Retail Marketing & Sales Assistant – Emerica/Altamont
Department: Retail Marketing

Emerica and Altamont Apparel Ltd. are looking for a Domestic Sales Manager, responsible for managing sales reps, distribution and market development within the United States. We need someone in our Retail Marketing department and we don’t mean two months from now. We’re seeking an experienced Retail Marketing & Sales Assistant to work within our Emerica and Altamont Brands. He/She will assist in the planning and execution of business unit marketing strategies and solutions continuing to advance Emerica/Altamont as industry leaders. This position will primarily assist in the overall implementation and execution of marketing initiatives including but not limited to: product placement, brand identity initiatives, event presence and execution, issuing PO’s, sourcing, corporate communications, executing promotions and retail marketing solutions. As Retail Marketing & Sales Assistant – Emerica/Altamont you will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Business Planning:
• Manage all aspects of the Sales/ Retail Marketing Calendar and coordinate with external departments (Product Development, Production, Marketing, Retail Marketing and Art department)
• Work with Sales Management on:
1. Annual Sales Meetings
2. Pre-line Presentations
3. Trade Shows Where applicable
4. Coordinate expense reports for RMM, CSM, and NSM
5. Research discontinued inventory for selection of product for Footwear and Apparel markdown specials.
6. Provide marketing support to business unit in handling marketing tasks in support of sales.
Business Analysis:
• Generate and maintain executive sales reports
• Work with Sales Management on creating analysis of product categories, weekly, seasonal and annual rep results.
Retail Marketing:
• Communicate all retail marketing programs with the sales force
• Assist in the sourcing and development of Point Of Purchase items
• Work with independent vendors in cost effective asset creation
• Assist Retail Marketing Manager in fielding and processing in store requests from outside marketing team
• Track and calendar all incoming items for promotion
• Oversee all aspects of the fulfillment of requested brand identity materials including processing, tracking, and fielding requests.
• Organize distribution of marketing assets to sales force and retail
• Work with vendors and manage the production process
• Manage and prioritize traffic for Art Department work orders
• Work with field coordinator to help with promotional distribution and budget management
Sales Reporting:
• Sales Tracking
1. Provide weekly sales activity and revenue targets by rep and product division
2. Generate/distribute various sales reports and communication on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

These are the qualifications you’ll need:
Education and/or Experience
Required
 1-2+ years of general marketing experience preferably in retail
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to lead cross-functional executions simultaneously.
 Possess an analytical and pragmatic approach to solving problems using technology.
 Ability to work effectively and creatively within a team environment or independently.
 Familiarity with retail business and sourcing

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
 Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
 Experience with Keynote is a plus.
