Dwindle Distribution: Home of Almost, Blind, Cliché, Darkstar and enjoi skateboards is looking for a Global Sales Manager, this position specifically manages the Global sales for all of the Dwindle brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Manages the Field Rep Sales Manager, Key accounts Sales Reps, International Sales manager and the In-house sales Team
-- Reports to the VP of Sales
-- Maximizes sales, solidifies brand image and provides a foundation for future global growth.
-- Develops and executes strategic sales plan to increase sales volume for each market globally. Sets annual brand and category sales goals in dollars and units.
-- Prepares sales report showing current sales volume and future potential sales.
-- Provide sales input to the VP of Sales on the development and refinement of the forecast monthly
-- Evaluates performance of competition and implement strategy to increase market share.
-- Reviews monthly /seasonal pre-book sales orders for Hardgoods, Apparel and Accessories.
-- Develops current assessment of channel/region and works closely with VP of Sales to create future goals
-- Delivers distribution strategy for each territory to the VP of Sales
-- Reviews all credit hold accounts and work closely with A/R to insure payments are made promptly.
-- Processes retailer accommodations (returns and cancellations) and forward to appropriate parties for authorization.
-- Insures the utilization of Dwindle marketing material is effective.
-- Attends and prepares detailed Sales info, brand position and performance updates at regularly scheduled Sales Meetings
-- Recommends and attends industry related trade shows
-- Travels to select regions to evaluate brand performance and collect market share information.
-- Establishes annual expense budgets for the respective territory and monitors and control the actual expenditures.
REQUIREMENTS:
-- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
-- Qualified candidates must have two plus years recent Sales Management or four years Sales Rep experience within hardgoods, skate footwear, apparel and/or action sports/Snowboarding industry.
-- National Sales knowledge is required
-- Strategic Planning
-- Sales Force Development & Management
-- Marketing and Brand Management experience
-- Self Starter
-- Strong People Management and Leadership skills
-- Skate History, Skate Technology, Competitor, Brand and Channel Knowledge required
-- Strong understanding of excel, sales analysis, reporting and forecasting required
Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Internet is required.
-- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, consistent follow through, detail orientation, ability to build strong business relationships, work well on a team environment and have a high level of motivation a must.
