The Global Privacy, Ethics, and Compliance (GPEC) team is part of the Legal team within the OGC. The team focuses on maintaining and building trust with our consumers, employees, and athletes and championing an ethical culture. We are looking for a driven and methodical go-getter to join the GPEC Portfolio Enablement team. As Portfolio Manager, we expect the candidate to bring strong expertise in portfolio management and reporting working across partners in business and technology. This role will collaborate across GPEC and with key partners to ensure aligned strategic priorities, a unified reporting strategy, seamless and sequenced execution, and value driven adoption of critical metrics tied to overall business strategy.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in delivering cross functional portfolio performance management and critical metric reporting across complex organizations. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of builder, operator, influencer, and delivery specialist, as they effectively navigate the matrixed structure of Nike. Building key partnerships, being a self-starter, developing a strong point of view, and gaining consensus across team will be key to be successful in the role.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for helping manage this work by ensuing the delivery of key strategic achievements, organizing critical decision-making meetings, ensuring integration across workstreams, and driving overall process excellence. Your focus will be to assist in making sure the entire team is clear on goals, expectations, and where the team is headed by excelling in clear and consistent communications.
You will partner with Portfolio and team colleagues to build the integrated view of progress against critical initiatives and operational excellence strategies within GPEC. You will coordinate teams and resources needed to deliver clear, concise, and timely insights to various levels of leadership. You will partner to continuously improve the integration of consistent reporting into portfolio governance forums across business and technology. You will lead an effective portfolio governance operating model and foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report into the Director of Portfolio Enablement for GPEC. You will partner closely with team members and leaders to drive strategic alignment, cross functional collaboration and integrated planning. You will work closely with Portfolio, Program, Product Management, Operations, and Process Innovation teams across business and technology to implement and fulfill integrated plans.
Key requirements
Bachelors Degree or combination of relevant education, skills, and experiences.
6 years of proven experience in corporate project and/or program management, corporate strategy, or business development.
Strong ability to effectively facilitate and lead work across multiple business partners and developing consensus across leaders to influence effective outcomes.
Demonstrated experience building visually compelling reporting processes, preferably around critical metrics that relate to organizational performance, measuring return on investment, and driving business efficiencies.
Highly proficient problem solver.
Experience working in a highly matrixed work environment.
Proactive desire to own and facilitate projects and programs forward through measurable process, planning, and team engagement.
Comfortable with ambiguity.
Sophisticated communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, mentoring and leadership skills.
