MusclePharm, located in Denver, CO, is in search of a Graphic Designer for its performance apparel line.

The Apparel Graphic Designer will have a leading role in the design and development of our outdoor performance apparel line. Working closely with the design team, the Designer will combine trends, market research/customer insight, fabric innovations, creativity and details to create products that meet customer/end user needs and in turn drive sales and profits. Also key to this role is overseeing overseas factory/vendor communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Talented, self-motivated, experienced graphic designer to carry out the concept and development of textile and surface graphics.
- Responsibilities will be focused on art for men’s and women’s tees and lifestyle graphics.
- Oversee and assist with the execution of all technical product details including construction, color, form, style, detail, fit, function, graphics, trim and more.
- Analyze submitted art “strike-offs” from vendors including sublimations, screen prints, jaqcaurded fabrics, etc. and commenting technically on how to improve.
- Stays current on industry trends.
- Strong hand illustration and graphic design skills.
- Work closely with design team and others to meet price points and timelines.
- Oversee factory/vendor communications.
- Enforce our company’s branding guidelines for apparel.
- Interact with Sales and Marketing to understand product/consumer needs and other market insight.
- Work with Marketing Team to help guide the development of catalogs/POP and marketing materials that best showcase the products, including photo shoots.
- Responsible for both conceptual design and executing against existing standards.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in Mac environment.
- Must have knowledge of embellishment processes (sublimation, screen print, jaquarding and offset litho)
- Ability to follow creative direction.
- Contributes to complex aspects of a project or design brief.
- Ability to clearly communicate improvements on embellishment prototypes to diverse global vendor base.
- Maintains image resource files.
