Reporting directly to the Head of HR, Singapore & Malaysia, the People Partner, Singapore, plays an instrumental role on all personnel and operational HR activities to support the business within Singapore.
Key Accountabilities
Work closely with Head of HR, Singapore & Malaysia, People Partner, Malaysia, Regional People team, and various business stakeholders to interpret business strategy into People strategy
Strive to harmonise People policies and processes to ensure alignment to business needs, regional People strategies and best market practices, in alignment with local statutory requirements
Business Partner to store management team and employees and play a consultative role in all People matters, and guides management team in making people decisions
Play an active role and working closely with the business teams on review of department structure and personnel costs, while partnering the business to optimise the productivity and workforce planning within budget levels
Partnering the line managers in the sourcing and shortlist of candidates through various recruitment channels
Manage and resolve employee relations issues and provide relevant People advice
Partner with line managers and employees to improve work relationships, increase productivity and retention
Liaison with various departments on resolution of system-related issues (Xactly, EQMS, Workday etc)
Support in annual performance appraisal and salary review & bonus exercise
Work closely with the HR Share Services team on the execution of monthly payroll and all other HR transactional services provided
Administer employee on-boarding induction / exit activities
Administer insurances, claims, staff welfare and activities
Preparation of HR/Corporate reports (Monthly HC/FTE Reports, Org Chart, Turnover etc)
Main point of contact for employees’ enquiries and requests In Singapore
Any ad-hoc duties relating to Human Resources
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree of Human Resources Management or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HRBP or HR generalist role preferably in retail, hospitality, luxury or related industries.
Proficient in recruitment, and has experience dealing with employee relations, with strong knowledge in local labour laws
People-oriented with a passion to interact with employees of all background and levels, as well as hands-on with daily HR operations.
Able to multi-task and manage tight timelines, with good project management skills
Disciplined, well-presented with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Resourceful and Hands-on with good analytical and planning skills
Able to work independently while being a team player and comfortable with reporting remotely
Highly driven, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with ambiguity
Proficient in MS Office applications
