K2 Sports, located in Seattle, WA is seeking an Production Artist. The Production Artist will be responsible for the preparation and separation of art files received from Graphic Artists to ensure the production art output meets the desired intent of the Graphic Artist.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for the production of mechanical art through direction received from Product Designers.
2. Assists in the operational needs of the department (e.g. Supplies, computer software and printers).
3. Provides weekly status reports to art production manager.
4. Maintains production archives.
5. Responsible for on time delivery of SAMPLE/DEMO/PRODUCTION art separations per timelines
6. Maintain Product line Tracking sheets.
7. Assist in other areas as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other design programs.
2. Knowledge of screen printing and art separations for screen printing.
3. Good design sense with color and typography.
4. Good organization and communication skills.
5. BFA or equivalent from Art/Graphic design school preferred.
6. 2 – 5 years of graphic artwork experience.

1. Willingness to work overtime as required to meet deadlines
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Must have the ability to work on several projects at one time and proficiency meeting deadlines
4. Ability to work in a team environment
