Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:ARC’One, our manufacturing and distribution facility, located in New Westminster, accounts for approximately 10% of our global production and employs over 550 people and has been named to the Great Place to Work® Canada 2020 list of Canada’s Best Workplaces in Manufacturing. As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you are responsible for case management of all work or non-work related injury or illness case by track from onset to close. You remain in contact with each employee away due to illness and injury until they are back to their regular duties. You also provide support in administrative duties in Health and Safety and People and Culture.     Meet Your Future Team:Under the supervision of Manager, People & Culture, you will work closely and be mentored by our Health and Safety Specialist and provide support for the People & Culture team. If you were the Health and Safety Coordinator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Responsible for case management of all work or non-work related injury or illness case by track from onset to close. Remain in contact with each employee away due to illness and injury until they are back to their regular duties! Responsible for administrative duties in Health and Safety and People and Culture including but not limited to data entry and audit, create letters and documentation, regenerate report, and coordinate with Work Safe BC ! Responsible for administrative duties in relation to the entry and upkeep of data of the company’s incident tracking software Resolver. Support with incident triage within the platform and people leader support in completing investigation report within the platform as directed by Health and Safety Specialist ! Participate in regular occupational health and safety meetings and provide administrative support to members of Joint Health and Safety Committee! Field health and safety inquiries from production and distribution floor and provide answers and solutions in a timely manner with guidance from Health and Safety Specialist! Support the onboarding of new hires as required, ensuring our new hires are fully set up in all things health and safety ! Support other projects, programs and activities in Health and Safety as well as People & Culture as needed! Support with incident investigation and track completion of correction actions arising from incident investigations! Produce and evolve KPI reporting on health and safety data including but not limited to – first aid incidents, near misses and ongoing corrective actions ! Support other health and safety initiatives and projects as neededHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Continue to hone the skills and increase knowledge in Health and Safety better support Health and Safety Specialist with day to day health and safety responsibilities ! Take on more responsibilities in Health and Safety programs and initiatives including but not limited to risk assessment and health and safety program design and implementation! Creating monthly health and safety initiatives  Are you our next Health and Safety Coordinator?! You have post-secondary education in Health and Safety, Kinesiology or related field ! You have general understanding of local and provincial Health and Safety regulations, ! You have excellent investigation and analytical skills ! You are highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy ! You have experience evaluating and evolving existing processes! You have a highly collaborative working style and the ability to communicate effectively to peers and people leaders! You are Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite! Good verbal command of an additional language is an asset! Experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is an asset. !
