Job Summary
The goal of the Shop & Space Specialist is to support the objectives of presentation excellence at each level of investment for the Quiksilver, Roxy and DC brands. This individual will support the annual space investment strategy by tier and strategic plan by coordinating, and executing those space investments by priority for our wholesale account partners. This position will focus on providing a premium consumer experience that targets each brands creative direction, account needs and company sales and ROI goals. The Shop & Space Specialist is responsible for adhering to and managing installs through a workback schedule and milestone timelines to meet deadlines which includes coordinating, communication and connecting with different departments and vendors to pull all elements of a shop install for 100% completion on install date. Expertise is required to read and understand floor plans, elevations, site survey's, sales metrics, capacity needs and translating it into a fixture and floor plan to meet metric objectives. Experience in developing or managing fixture programs, familiarization with construction, materials and custom build-out projects will provide functional expertise needed for this role.

Job Responsibilities
-Collaborate with Shop and Space Manager on implementing all space investments annually by brand that focuses on key markets, in top doors with a ROI.
- Maintain and update a shop install calendar that includes all shop installs for the year, fixture and attachment run drops, seasonal fixture art updates and any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with Shop and Space Manager in maintaining the Shop Install Process efficiency from account commitment, site survey, sales plan and ROI information gathering, design renderings and approvals, floor plan & elevation drawings, fixture & space build, branding and propping, and install.
- Assist space install to 100% completion at date of install.
- Maintain and store documents to support the shop and space strategy- fixture agreements, ROI forms and update as parameters change.
- Partner with Shop and Space Manager in negotiating the best real estate in each door- traffic and sightlines- with the goal of higher sales volume potential, factoring in the right amount of space to drive stock turn, sales targets and ROI.
- Collaborate with Shop & Space Manager to develop fixture package standards, ideal mix of fixture types, placement guidelines, branding rules and approved art packages by brand for imagery selects for spaces.
- Assist with the prototype and build phase of new fixture system for all Quiksilver brands and provide quarterly fixture inventory needs to the builder.
- Create a workback schedule for each major shop or large fixture run project on the calendar with deliverable dates and execute to meet deadlines.
- Maintain and manage a holistic document of all space investments to be sorted by account, location, shop type, fixtures installed, fixture art, and custom graphics.
- Assist Manager in fulfillment of graphic needs per shop space, update existing or creating new, thru the brands or fulfilling orders with existing collateral
- Filter and process fixture requests from sales managers, reps and accounts that align and support the strategic plan of campaign and marketing needs.
- Process invoices by shop and GL's.
- Effectively assist in communication on all shop and space plans, new fixture system roll-out, and any fixture or attachment runs with Sales Managers, Retail Merchandising Manager and the Retail Marketing team.
- Execute seasonal recaps of our top space executions to our department and key stakeholders.
- Assist Manager and oversea local shop installations through communication with shop owners, sales reps, and Retail Merchandiser teams, may involve on site work.

Job Requirements
-Bachelors Degree
-5 years related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, prioritization, project management and results orientation skills
- Strong knowledge of consumer buying & shopping patterns, fixtures & placement, consumer traffic and sightlines, light construction, and visual presentation skill
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and Auto CAD      
- Understanding of Creative Suites, Google Sketch and other rendering programs
- Negotiation, influence and relationship building skills with vendors, accounts and internal team mates
- Valid driver’s license & ability to travel
