The Movember Foundation currently operates the Movember campaign in twenty-one countries, including Australia, the US, UK, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, and New Zealand. Through the power of the moustache, we have created a global movement that is changing the face of men’s health.

Movember is a global charity movement where men grow and women support moustaches for the month of November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to work with the leadership team in implementing Movember’s global people strategy.

This created role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with global leadership experience to utilise their strategy development and influencing skills when working to implement people initiatives that will assist in the achievement of Movember’s Vision and Values.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer you works closely with Movember’s Human Recourses Manager and the Leadership Team across the globe. This role requires a depth of HR experience with strong strategic development, change management and influencing skills preferably within a global commercial operation. You must embody a passion for men’s health and demonstrate the vision and values of Movember in all dealings with the community. To fit in with the team and to get the job done, it helps to be witty, quick on your feet and have the ability to form solid personable relationships. If random costume-themed days or impromptu dance parties is your ideal work environment, you will be right at home.

In this role you will be asked to:

• Work closely with COO to develop and implement Movember’s global HR/People Strategy
• Provide leadership, direction and motivation through an observable passionate commitment to the Movember cause
• Ensure that through local resources Movember is compliant with relevant local legislation/laws for each country that we currently operate within
• Develop and implement training and development strategy
• Establish and maintain a mentor program and succession planning matrix
• Oversee HR aspects of company risk management and business continuity plan
• Continue to raise the profile of HR within the business
• Build on the unique Movember culture to develop a sought after workplace which has minimal staff turnover and maximum staff satisfaction

What makes you appealing to us?

• At least 5 years professional work experience in a Senior HR Manager role
• You are keen for some global travel
• Recent application of contemporary HR practices, particularly in the areas of workforce planning, L&D, performance management and strategy and development

• Ability to balance needs of multiple stakeholders and manage
• You pride yourself on your relationship building skills
