The Breakdown:

Burton is looking for individuals interested in providing platinum customer service in BOTH our Boulder, CO Flagship Store and on our eCommerce Customer Service team. The Burton â??Hybridâ?? Basecamp Guides (a.k.a. customer service representatives) are a unique team focused on connecting and integrating processes and customers between Burton.com (eCommerce) and Burton Flagship Stores (retail). This is a full-time, seasonal, hourly position where your schedule will be split between the digital ecommerce customer service team and the in-person retail store customer service team.

The Burton Guides (i.e. customer service representatives) are a key component in supporting riders and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, ability levels and backgrounds via phone, chat and email. The Burton Retail Sales Associates are doing the same via face-to-face service in the stores. What You Get to Do:

! BE the voice of Burton!!!
! Support customers by driving a platinum customer experience via phone, chat and email contacts AND Face-to-Face in the stores. You'll be assisting customers with product, order, and warranty questions in both digital and real life. Establish professional one-on-one relationships with rad customers
! Guide and educate customers about the Burton, Analog, and anon product lines
! Help customers identify the right gear to support their adventures
! Stay educated and up to date on product changes and product launches
! Maintain a welcoming store environment by supporting merchandising and inventory plans
! Contribute to achieving Store sales targets
! Meet productivity and quality levels in support of best-in-the-industry customer service experiences
! Work alongside the Burton E-Commerce and Flagship Store teams to share knowledge, training, and customer feedback

! Connect and collaborate with Internal Teams to share knowledge and customer feedback to enhance communication throughout the company
! Develop yourself professionally through individualized coaching and development
! Learn about the Burton brand through a cross-departmental mentoring program developed specifically for our seasonal team

What You'll Bring to the Team:

! Ability to work a flexible shift in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing demands (evenings, holidays and weekend availability required)

! Experience in retail, call center or customer service beneficial

! Ability to smoothly transition between digital and physical store work

! Strong initiative and adaptability to be able to independently juggle many duties and screens at once, while never losing sight of the customer experience

! Ability to ask questions of and hear answers from customers and teammates alike
! Ability to adapt quickly to product and procedure changes

! Excellent written and verbal communication skills
! Curiosity and the ability to use the knowledge resources we supply
! A positive, outgoing personality and passion to connect with others.
! A passion for snowboarding. Snowboard experience preferred but not required
! Experience with Order Management programs, Customer Resource Management systems and cloud-based phone systems (Salesforce, Navis, New Store, Inntopia, Five9, Avaya, etc.) is beneficial
! Ability to meet the physical requirements of retail work such as (but not limited to) stand/walk for extended periods of time; reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry inventory; maneuver up and down stairs with product; regularly perform store cleanliness tasks; lift boxes up to 50pounds; climb ladders

This role does require the ability to physically work from a store three to five days/week as dictated by business levels. Computer equipment necessary for the digital portion of this role will be provided to you.
