The Critical Slide Society was started on the east coast of Australia in September 2009. Over the past five years the brand has worked with a number of like-minded contributors from across the globe to build the brand from the sand up. Developing a society of people connected through surf, fashion, art and most importantly, a good sense of humor.
The Critical Slide Society has been distributed into the US since kicking-off and now available in an enviable list of retailers across the country.
We’re looking for an exceptional salesperson with a passion for surfing and fashion. An individual that can represent The Critical Slide Society and further our journey in the US!

OPEN TERRITORIES:
East Coast (All East Coast Territories)
JOB DUTIES
- Implementall TCSS philosophies to promote the brand within theEast Coast territory.
- Plan and executethe sales function for each of the four TCSS seasonal ranges.
- Continually evaluate and assessdistribution, identifying new opportunities while remaining true to the established TCSS distribution values.
- Establish, maintain& progressthe TCSS brand name by building relationships with retail partners, ambassadorsand other partners (media etc) alongside the TCSS US Brand Manger.
- Provide product and sales strategy feedback to the US Brand Manager
- Perform account support: merchandising, marketing support, and store ambassador development.
- Attend applicable trade shows and retail events
-Achieve and report on forecasted sales goals eachseason
- Provide superb customer service and support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years minimum retail sales experience
- 3 years minimum of outside sales experience
- Hold existing account relationships
- Retail and wholesale knowledge of the surf and fashion market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to meet sales deadlines
- Self starter
- Proficient in Word/ Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
