We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fractional Controller / CFO to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight. This role will guide financial planning, ensure accurate reporting, optimize costs, and support fundraising efforts, all while aligning with our business goals. Experience in retail and manufacturing is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Guidance:

  • Develop budgets, financial models, and strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide insights on financial forecasts, cash flow management, profitability, and financial efficiency
  • Identify financial trends and advise on strategic financial planning

Financial Operations & Reporting:

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Report on key financial metrics and develop dashboards for performance tracking
  • Establish and improve financial reporting structures and processes

Fundraising & Investor Relations:

  • Prepare detailed financial projections and investor pitch materials
  • Support fundraising initiatives and communicate effectively with potential investors

Cost Optimization & Profitability:

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve margins
  • Create pricing strategies and identify new revenue growth opportunities
  • Analyze product profitability and communicate financial risks with mitigation plans

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Controller, CFO, or in a senior financial management role
  • Strong background in retail and manufacturing industries preferred
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

Compensation:

  • Pay is DOE (Depends on Experience)
  • Flexible, part-time hours
