Sitka is starting to lock down territories in the USA and is looking to find outside sales reps in the following areas.

* Southern California
* Northern California
* Intermountain
* The Rocky Mountains
* the Southwest
* The Midwest
* New England
* Mid Atlantic
* Southeast
* Florida
* Puerto Rico
* Hawaii

The candidate will be responsible for:
* Selling our products within seasonal timelines to new and existing customers
* Provide customer service that exceeds industry standards and expectations
* Achieving territory sales goals
* Prospect, qualify, sell and develop positive relationships with new accounts
* Execute in-store sales and marketing initiatives
* Be an ambassador for Sitka - Having a good time at all times!

Qualifications:
* The candidate must have at least 2 years of direct sales experience working for other brands in the surf/skate/snow industry.
* Other brands and a strong account base are required to apply.
* You must be prepared to travel extensively throughout your territory.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

The Story of Sitka:
The name Sitka derives from the Sitka Spruce, a tree naturally drawn to the shorelines of Western Canada the company Sitka grew from the same endeavor.

The seed was sown in the fall of 2002 when two Canadian surfers, Rene Gauthier and Andrew Paine, with their shared passion and vision for making surfboards, decided to take their hobby out of the garage and offer a new option to the local surfing population. Sitka Surfboards was born. Since that time the company has grown drastically and now offers a complete surfboard, skateboard, and clothing line for men and women.

As the popularity of the the brand grew over the years, Sitka has come to represent and attract a wide network of like-minded individuals drawn to the same passions and lifestyle as the founders. Sitka, in turn, has germinated into an exceptionally unique brand that not only represents the lifestyle that is shared by its creators, but appeals to a wide range of people.
